Mission Statement

ArchaeologicalMorphometrics is designed to be a platform for all those interested, irrespective of academic level, in the potential of traditional and geometric morphometric analyses within archaeological research.

Originating from the MORPH2015 conference, hosted by the University of Southampton Department of Archaeology, this website aims to: a) provide a community and starting point for the promotion of archaeological morphometrics, b) highlight current research within archaeological morphometrics, and c) allow discussions on the applications of morphometrics within archaeology.

We hope, through the creation of a user-friendly platform, to create a professional network where archaeologists and morphometrics can keep-up-to-date with the growing field of studies in size and shape within archaeology.

This website is designed and maintained by Christian Hoggard and Sarah Stark.
